- Setting up the room space and making sure it’s cleared up afterward.
- Create a poll so that society members can request songs they want to be taught.
- Organise what tutorial is being done at least 3 weeks in advance.
- Learn and teach the choreography to a good standard, with time at the end to film for socials and take photos.
- Any dance tutorials must prioritise the happiness and safety of its attendees. Tutorials must be taught at a beginner level. In terms of safety, windows should be opened, have frequent water breaks, and there has to be a minimum of 10 minutes of warming up and stretching before you start to teach.
- From mid-term 1 or from the start of term 2, start opening up the opportunity of teaching to society members. For this you will need to make a separate teacher’s group chat, verify that these are society members, make a document of what’s being taught when, and by whom.
- For videos taken, to help marketing, you must edit the original video audio so that it’s just the tutorial’s song, removing the background noise. Upload these to the society Google Drive after the tutorial.
