Position Information
- The Social Secretary shall be responsible for organising and promoting social events and activities for the society, aimed at fostering an inclusive and engaging community.
- They shall coordinate regular social gatherings, including but not limited to, informal meetings, themed events, collaborative socials with other societies, and society celebrations.
- The Social Secretary shall ensure that all social events are accessible, welcoming, and in line with the society’s values and The Guild’s Byelaws and policies.
- The Social Secretary shall be responsible for the welfare and safety of members at society-organised social events, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed where necessary.
