The role of Vice President holds a lot of potential and is a role you can really make your own. Specific tasks for the role include setting up feedback opportunities for band members and organising stash orders. You also assist in decision-making concerning the general running of the society, ensuring committee members are happy with their tasks and helping out where needed. Furthermore, the role of VP lends itself well to overseeing the welfare of concert band members. As the VP has fewer specific tasks compared to other roles on committee, they can be integral in helping to promote the overall happiness and wellbeing of our members, ensuring every member of concert band is heard (both in opinions and in noisy playing). 

N.B: VP is often responsible for organising intramural (netball), but doesn’t have to be. In the past this has also been President, and small ensembles committee, and so can be anyone who wants to.
