The role of the Equalities and Welfare Officer is to ensure that everyone, no matter who they are, is able to enjoy and fully participate in the society. Moreover, as Equalities and Welfare Officer you will have an important role to play in deciding how events are run so as to best promote diversity and inclusivity.

You will also have opportunities to represent the society at events which are focused on equalities and welfare within the broader Guild, University, and Labour Party organisations. To help negate conflicts of interest regarding welfare issues, we will have two officers next year.
