The president is the face and spokesperson for the society. Responsibilities of the president include but are not limited to:

• Promoting and developing the society
• Managing committee members
• Expanding relations with local bands and venues
• Ensuring compliance with The Guild’s byelaws and Activities Team policies
• Overseeing event planning and logistics

The position of president requires someone who is organised and able to communicate effectively, as well as familiar with our activities as a society. It is an incredibly rewarding position, and allows for meaningfully developing Exeter's music scene both within the society and externally.
