Your prime responsibility is ensuring the society runs smoothly and that your committee and members have everything they need. I.e that committee are able to complete their roles and do so according to plan, and that members are able to engage/participate in any and all events. 

Breakdown:

• You'll oversee and provide support with society activities and events, especially freshers, elections and any big social events (e.g. winter/spring balls).
• Be a spokesperson for your committee and your members - including liaising with the Guild, the Liberal arts department, other societies where necessary, and outside organisations/individuals. 
• At the beginning of the year, it is your responsibility to complete and submit an Annual Risk Assessment and make sure this is being stuck to throughout the year.
• Hold meetings with the rest of the committee for planning events and reflecting on past ones.
