As President, you’ll be the driving force behind the PPE Society, setting the vision for the year, leading the committee, and representing the society both within and beyond Exeter 🌍🎓

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• 🤝 Lead the committee by coordinating meetings, supporting each officer, and ensuring everyone feels empowered to deliver their role effectively
• 🌐 Liaise with PPE societies at other universities to organise the annual PPE Symposium, bringing together PPE students from across the UK for a full day of professional panels, talks, and discussions 🎤📊
• 🏛️ Act as the main point of contact between the society and the Students’ Guild, university departments, external speakers, and partner organisations
• 📅 Oversee the society’s calendar, ensuring a strong balance of academic events, professional development opportunities, socials, and welfare initiatives
• 🧠 Shape the academic and professional vision of the society, helping deliver talks, panels, and careers events relevant to PPE students’ interests and ambitions
• 🗣️ Represent PPE Society at official events, meetings, and cross-society collaborations
• 🛠️ Support problem solving and decision making, stepping in where needed to keep events and initiatives running smoothly
