• Leadership & Organisation Experience
• Worked on a minimum of FIVE XTV Projects

Duties: 

• As Station Manager you are responsible for running the station.  
• You will be required to monitor, and deal with any enquiries that come through the stationmanagers@xtvonline email.
• You will need to monitor all XTV social media platforms, FIXR and the XTV members chat to ensure that the society is engaging with it's members. 
• As head of the station, you must be able to perform all the roles, duties, and responsibilities that all of the other committee positions entail. This is to ensure that if a committee member is unable to fulfil their duty, you will need to step up to help out. 
• You will need to aid the committee in fulfilling their job descriptions and to be aware of all actions taken by the committee in relation to XTV as well as encouraging effective teamwork. 
• You must maintain an overview of the stations progress, actively gather ideas, and make suggestions for improvement. 
• You are Responsible for communication with external student bodies, such as other Stations and NaSTA. To assist in the preparation of any necessary administration for entering XTV programmes to the NaSTA awards.
• Station manager has the responsibility to write and sign off financial forms of the society, such as equipment purchases and payments, which is done through the Expense365 app. You will work with the Head of Business and Finance, and Deputy Station Manager to ensure that these purchases are made for XTV. 
• You are responsible for working with the Head of Creative(s) in giving permission for projects to be created
• You will be required to book out equipment and setting up and establishing project budgets
• You will liaise with the Deputy station manager in organising committee meetings
• You will be required to organize annual committee elections, and mid-term elections as well (if you so choose to do so).
• You will be required to setup stash, or work with the Deputy station manager to do so
• You are responsible for uploading content to the XTV YouTube channel
• At the end of the academic year you will work towards an effective handover period, ensuring accurate logs, information and records of correspondence are kept.
