Outreach Secretary:

• In charge of working with campus media to cover our events and giving comment where necessary.
• In charge of overseeing the societies interactions with other university societies.
• To work with the president on organising inter university events with other societies around the UK, such as free thinking competitions.
• To assist the senior chairmen in organising debate nights.
• To work with committee members on developing a strategy to entice members from other societies to join the society.
• To attend events of other societies to promote our society.
• To help get senior members of other societies involved in our events, such as sitting on the panel for Exeter debate nights.
• To assist with the promotion and ticket selling process for society events.
• Shall attend welfare training and be aware of the welfare of members.
• Shall be responsible for society publicity where appropriate in the role.
