The role of year 2 rep in a broad sense involves being a voice for everyone in 1st and 2nd  year within MedSoc and the medical school as a whole, in order to ensure that concerns and ideas are brought forwards. This includes being someone who is readily available for preclinical students to speak to, providing support to those within the years, and most importantly listening to what they want from their time at medical school and what you can do to help achieve this. Candidates need to be approachable, organised, a friendly face, and overall, just willing to listen and help.
