The Events Coordinators are responsible for recruiting speakers for educational and insightful talks for the society members, such as our ‘Battle of the Surgeons’ event newly piloted this academic year. Speakers often range from consultant surgeons to medical students. The role also requires liaising with speakers to coordinate dates for the talks, working with other members of the committee to advertise, ensure the event runs smoothly on the day, gain feedback from the audience and provide certificates for speakers.
