As Welfare Secretary, you’ll play a key role in making PPE Society a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for all members 🤍

This role is about looking after people, making sure everyone feels heard, supported, and able to enjoy what the society has to offer.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• 🫶 Promote member wellbeing and inclusivity across all society activities
• 🤝 Act as a point of contact for members with welfare concerns, signposting to appropriate university support services where needed
• 💬 Work closely with the committee to ensure events are accessible, inclusive, and considerate of different needs
• 🧠 Organise welfare focused initiatives, such as check ins, low pressure socials, or awareness events
• 📣 Collaborate with Publicity Secretary to share welfare resources and promote a positive, supportive culture
• 🏛️ Liaise with the Students’ Guild and university services on welfare related matters
