The social secretary is responsible for planning and organising social events. Alongside and in collaboration with the other committee members, they are in charge of ideating social events that gather the society's members and allow them to connect in an inclusive and safe environment. They often work closely with the Publicity Officer as the successful outcome of their work depends on members' awareness of upcoming events.
