Individuals in this role are encouraged to run as a pair, as you will need to work closely together, but this is not mandatory. Please state in your manifesto if you are running as a pair and put both of your names on the application. 

• Organises socials throughout the year for members
• Ensures socials are creative and inclusive (including non-drinking socials)
• Organises formals e.g. Christmas Dinner, Summer Dinner
• Contacts third-party companies/businesses for socials (e.g. pubs, restaurants)
• Co-ordinates with Publicity Sec to ensure sufficient advertising of socials
• Co-ordinating with Treasurer to ensure management of event expenses (budget forms, reimbursements etc.
• Co-ordinating with President to ensure all socials are covered under the risk assessments
