Duties:

• Acting as a liaison between the medic brothers/sisters and other medic students on campus as well as any medicine related external organisations.
• Catering to the educational requirements of Muslim medics by planning teaches and creating an environment for students to socialise and collaborate.
• Working together (both reps) to organise and promote events within the ISoc for Muslim medics. For example, arranging for guest speakers, professionals, or experts in the field of medicine or healthcare to speak at events.
• Working together (both reps) to provide study and review sessions for Muslim medics on campus.
• Creating and maintaining a network of contacts and resources that are valuable to medic brothers/sisters.
• Collaborating with other societies or organisations like the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) to organise joint events or projects that are relevant to medic brothers/sisters.
• Facilitating networking opportunities for medic brothers/sisters by organising meet-and-greet events, mentorship programs, or alumni talks.

Requirements:

• To be a student studying medicine.
• To have good organisational and networking skills.
• To have good knowledge of medicine and the BMBS course at the University and to be passionate about it to help teach/assist others.
