Duties: 

• Head(s) of Publicity is a great committee role for anyone who has a creative streak! As Head of Publicity, you’ll be heading up all XTV socials including the Instagram page, WhatsApp Group Chat, TikTok and Facebook. 
• You’ll be the first point of contact for anyone engaging with XTV’s social media accounts which includes answering DMs from members and others interested in the society. 
• Socials, specifically Instagram, are typically the way societies attract new members so it’s important our pages are appealing and engaging to help recruit more film enthusiasts! You’ll mainly be working with the Station Manager, Head of Creative and Head of Events committee members to advertise upcoming events, projects, and socials. 
• Good communication, organisation, and a decent knowledge of design programmes such as Canva are the main skills you’ll need to be an effective Head of Publicity. Good luck to all those applying, being on committee is so much fun and Publicity is a great role! - Sophie (Previous Head of News)
