Marrow relies on volunteers, so this is vital for the success of your group! You’ll organise counsellor training sessions and continue to monitor counsellors to make sure that they are confident in recruiting donors and adhering to Anthony Nolan’s guidelines. You’ll also need to work with other committee members to ensure your volunteers are having a good time, so they stick around! You’ll probably be at your busiest just after freshers and Refreshers, perhaps spending 2 hours a week training volunteers. For the rest of the year, you’ll likely only need to dedicate an hour a week to your committee role.
