Our annual elections are being held for the following positions:

President

• Chairs meetings, principal spokesperson, manages society affairs and delegates to other roles, oversees society progression, promotion and development.

Vice President

• Responsible for administration, organising stash, and overseeing large projects delegated to them (such as outreach, collaborations or Balls)

Treasurer

• Responsible for overseeing society finances, setting membership fees, and managing expenses.

General Secretary

• Responsible for supporting the VP in administration, aiding other committee members and performing administrative duties such as room bookings. 

Education Secretary

• Responsible for organising German-speaking and other educational events, or language classes.

Publicity Secretary

• Responsible for publicity - emailing members about events, managing social media accounts, and ensuring publicity, such as during freshers' week, is of a high quality. 

Social Secretary

• Responsible for organising Social events such as Stammtisch, and ensuring these are run in line with risk assessments and that events are welcoming and safe.

Welfare Secretary

• Responsible for member welfare at events and advising members on where further help can be found. 

Alumni Secretary

• Responsible for maintaining relations with our expansive alumni network.

Voting will be open at 8pm on the 9th May and close at 8pm on the 12th May.
