Position Information

Responsibilities

Encourage members to complete the Post-Interview Questionnaire after interviews to build a portfolio of questions for future committees.

Promote and maintain the Open Applications Spreadsheet or ensure a Career Tracker (e.g., the Bristol Tracker) is accessible to members.

Serve as the first point of contact for career-related inquiries, maintaining a humble, friendly, and approachable demeanor.

Update career handbooks as needed, ensuring they remain relevant and valuable.

Edit and deliver Professional Development presentations, keeping them up to date with current industry knowledge.

Confidently present career-related content in an interactive and engaging manner, answering members’ questions effectively.

Build a strong network of speakers, particularly alumni, to support members' career development in collaboration with the External Relations and Events Officer.

Conduct competency interviews and proactively arrange technical interviewers when necessary.

Provide detailed feedback and guidance on CVs and Cover Letters for members.

Host weekly CV, cover letter, and interview skills workshops to support members' professional growth.

Organize ExSIF career events in conjunction with ongoing series such as the Stock Pitch Series and the Financial Analysis Course.

Offer guidance on application preparation and insight into various programs to help members succeed in their career pursuits.
