The welfare secretary’s role is to support committee and society members with any welfare concerns they might have by providing an empathetic listening ear and signposting to support resources that the Guild and University provide. The welfare secretary is there to ensure everyone at EUAct feels included and valued, and see that sessions and socials are accessible and friendly. No prior experience is necessary; if you would like to be a reliable and friendly face for fellow members, this might be the role for you!
