ExRES Committee Re Elections 2026 27 are now open

Want to play a bigger role in one of Exeter’s most exciting societies? This is your chance to join the ExRES committee, build valuable skills, meet like minded people, and help shape the year ahead. We are looking for passionate and driven students to step into the following roles:

Vice President
• Support the President across corporate and academic engagements
• Help delegate tasks and act as a key point of contact for committee initiatives
• Assist with vetting partnerships and speaker opportunities
• Help ensure strong internal organisation and long term planning across the society

Head of Research
• Lead and oversee the ExRES Research Analyst Scheme
• Set the direction of research across sectors and maintain strong output quality
• Manage and mentor research leads and analysts
• Coordinate publication of insights through ExRES Press
• Liaise with industry professionals, alumni, and partners on research initiatives
• Explore the possibility of organising case competitions to expand learning and engagement opportunities for members

Event Secretary
• Plan, organise, and coordinate society events
• Manage logistics for speaker events, both online and in person
• Work closely with the committee to bring ideas to life and ensure events run smoothly
• Ensure approvals and risk assessments are completed on time

Social Secretary
• Plan and coordinate all ExRES social events and mixers
• Liaise with venues to secure bookings, deals, and packages
• Organise logistics including dates, capacity, and ticketing
• Work closely with the Treasurer on budgets and pricing
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to promote events
• Support collaborations with other student societies

Stash Secretary
• Manage all ExRES merchandise including hoodies, t shirts, and accessories
• Coordinate stash drops including product selection, pricing, and timelines
• Organise logistics including dates and ticketing information on FIXR
• Ensure smooth distribution of merchandise to members
• Work with the Marketing Manager to promote stash releases and drive sales
