Welcome to the Exeter Acute Care and Anaesthetics Society (EACAS), and thank you for taking the time to consider joining our committee for the 2025/26 academic year. 

The committee have been working hard over the summer to position EACAS as a society that can offer more to our members. We have identified five new roles to help us achieve our ambitious goals. 

These new roles include:

• Academic Lead
• Charities Lead
• Conference Lead
• Clinical Co-ordinator 
• Events Co-ordinator 

Those taking up a new role will work closely with other committee members to support the various projects we plan throughout the year. Upon joining EACAS, we will provide full familiarisation and ensure all the support needed to help you engage with the role is available where required.

We are looking for committee members who have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Organisational abilities 
• Ability to take the initiative
• Event planning and management skills 
• Networking and relationship-building skills 
• Teamwork and Collaboration Skills
