The Conference Lead is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of the society’s flagship conference. This role requires a high level of organisation, creativity, and leadership to ensure the event runs smoothly and delivers a high-quality experience for all attendees. The Conference Lead oversees all aspects of the conference—from securing speakers and venues to managing logistics, marketing, budgeting, and delegate engagement. Acting as the main point of contact for all conference-related matters, the Conference Lead works closely with the wider committee to ensure the event aligns with the society’s goals, promotes academic excellence, and fosters professional development for attendees.
