This role is open in collaboration with a mental health charity and is open for anyone to nominate themselves, ideally someone entering their second, third or fourth year, with a passion for a mental health career. Despite this is not a requirement, we would like the successful candidate to be a current student ambassador of Overcome and have experience /knowledge of using Slack for communications. If successful, your role will involve negotiating sponsorships, organising mental wellbeing-themed events and utilising your expertise as a student + inviting external speakers to host career workshops to break into the clinical /counselling psychology field. We provide generous funding to support you in your role to host events and workshops for the society.

You will receive support from the President in doing cold reach outs to current mental health professionals hence building your network, first access to mental health role openings and the opportunity to negotiate and organise workshops, with the opportunity to build a team within this new division to support you at your wish.
You will also have the opportunity to utilise the President's network to collaborate with other mental health-related societies within Exeter, e.g. ADHD Peer Support Group and Exeter Night Line.
