The Venue Coordinator is responsible for ExeTech’s equipment being used in performance spaces (venues) on campus. This involves ensuring that venues are operational and safe, and working with the Equipment Manager to distribute technical equipment to the venues as needed. Additionally, the Venue Coordinator should offer training and assistance to members who are operating lighting and sound in the venues. They should also be willing to consult with theatre groups and other performance societies about which venues would best suit their events. The secondary function of this role is to deputise for the Equipment Manager should they be unable to fulfil an order. Candidates should have excellent time management skills, be organised, and have good problem-solving skills.
