The role of the Welfare and Equalities Officer is to ensure that everyone, no matter who they are, is able to enjoy and fully participate in the society. Moreover, as Welfare and Equalities Officer you will have an important role to play in deciding how events are run so as to best promote diversity and inclusivity. 

You will also have opportunities to represent the society at events which are focused on welfare and equalities within the broader Guild, University, and Labour Party organisations. 

The Welfare and Equalities Officer is very important role on committee, especially as the Labour Society is committed to being an inclusive society open to everyone.
