This position elects two candidates!

To be a successful social sec you’ll need to create a schedule of motorsport themed socials/events you want to hold throughout the year and organise them. This can include ringing venues, email correspondence and ensuring that there is a large enough capacity at venues for your event. It is vital to be present at all events to ensure smooth running and organisation. You’ll work closely with media sec to promote events timely. You’ll need to be confident in communicating to big groups of people. You'll also need to be able to work well with the other social sec as you'll collaborate and brainstorm ideas together to come up with fun new events for the society! 

Examples of events you may choose to organise and run:

• F1 watchalongs
• Casual karting
• Motorsport themed quizzes
• Pub crawls
• F1/motorsport themed pottery painting
