Freshers Rep

The Freshers Representative acts as the voice of first-year History students within the society, ensuring that their experiences, needs, and ideas are heard. This role focuses on helping new members settle into university life and feel welcomed into the History Society community. It’s an ideal position for an enthusiastic and approachable student who wants to get involved early and make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the interests of first-year History students at committee meetings.
• Help plan, promote, and run events aimed at welcoming and engaging freshers.
• Provide feedback from freshers to the committee to improve events and communication.
• Collaborate with other committee members, particularly the Social Secretary and Welfare Officer, to foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
