Core team members are the backbone of GDSC. They are the central committee and collaborate to accomplish the team's goals. An example of their function is the planning and putting on of events throughout the year. Indeed, a core team member has the freedom to come up with an event and claim ownership of it, as long as it contributes to the wider developer community at the University. Supported by the rest of the team with access to the society's resources, they can create impactful events. A core team member is someone usually technical in nature, with a foot already in the developer community and has a few projects under their belt. This is because they should act as a role model to other developers that which to build their own projects, always ready to provide support and helpful guidance.
