Ensuring the society stays within budget and with a healthy bank account. To be able to provide almost all events we do as a society, it is important to have well-allocated funding and manage our accounts accordingly by sending off and keeping track of invoices. Moving forward, the treasurer will also be responsible for ensuring any contracts & insurance documents are dealt with accordingly – this is especially relevant for external bookings of any sort. Being a treasurer offers students the opportunity to develop valuable skills in finance and management, as well as keep track of a lot of money for us!
