The position of Treasurer in EUTCo's committee is responsible for creating the budgets for each separate show, looking over past budgets and the current show sales in theatres in order to decide on what our income should be. Additionally, to ensure budgets remain on track, you will be working closely with the Events Manager to decide on the fundraising schemes for events, sponsorships for smaller budget shows and crowdfunders for the Edinburgh Fringe show. Another aspect of the role is to ensure that EUTCo have access to the rights for each of the shows and discuss with agents the contracts and rules/ regulations to follow. Being Treasurer requires clear communication skills and enthusiasm to keep teams upbeat throughout the process.
