Run EUOWSS! A great candidate would be someone who is friendly, organised, confident and passionate about both open water swimming and safety. Currently, the president organises the weekly Sunday Swims by organising annual risk assessment and liaising with the Guild. The president also ensures the safety of swimmers by checking weather/wave forecasts, and giving an initial safety briefing to all swimmers identifying risks. The President also chairs mettings, delegates tasks to committee and works with committee members to help with their responsibilities. It is a very rewarding role being able to watch the society grow and share the love of open water swimming :)
