As treasurer, the primary focus of your role is to manage the society's finances. You will need to be able to create spreadsheets to detail the net movement of money in and out of the society accounts and approve expense forms submitted by members. You will also be required to process invoices sent by outsourced teachers, and make sure the society has enough money to stay afloat for the year. You may also be interested in sourcing grants from the University for certain events and researching marketing techniques to maintain financial stability.
