Election for the position of President in History Society

The President is the principal officer and spokesperson for the society and the chair for committee meetings, AGM and EGMs.

The President shall attend meetings with their elected representative officer, as the representative of the Society.

• Have overall responsibility for the promotion and development of the society.
• Ensure that the group does not contravene The Guild's byelaws or any guidelines and policy of the Activities team.
• Have the responsibility to write and sign off on financial forms for the society.
• The President has overall responsibility to respond to communication from the Activities team.
