Overview:

Responsible for the budgeting and financial management of the society. This includes securing advertising opportunities, submitting reimbursement claims to the Guild and applying for funding and grants.

Details:

This role requires good organisation and communication skills as the Treasurer oversees RAZZ Magazine’s finances and corresponds with other members of the committee and the Student Guild when putting payments through. You will be expected to complete a summary of the magazine’s finances at the end of the academic year (there is a template already available though, so no previous knowledge of how to do this is required). Additionally, the Treasurer’s key job is to organise advertisements from local businesses for the Print Editions (we publish one edition each term) by either emailing or calling various places. This role can be recommended to anyone who wishes for a relatively simple role alongside their academic studies, whilst also being able to find out more about how the organisation of a magazine works.
