The VP acts as a support and representative for the President and the society as a whole. Generally, they will be responsible for:

• Supporting the President
• Acting as a representative
• In the absence of the President, the Vice President may be expected to step into the role and perform their duties. This may include chairing meetings, making decisions on behalf of the society, and representing the society in external meetings or events.
• Supporting other members to help them to develop their skills and take on leadership roles of their own. This may involve mentoring, training, and providing guidance and feedback to other members.

The Vice President helps to lead and manage a university student society, working closely with the President and other members to ensure that the society achieves its goals and fulfills its mission.
