Position Information
- The Academic Social Secretary will be responsible for organising our lecturer research talk series. This will include talking to academic staff and organising times, dates, and locations for these talks.
- They will be responsible for organising volunteering for our members to tutor students at local schools.
- They shall be the society’s representative in SSLC meetings. This involves updating the attendees on the academic side of our society, as well as giving any feedback we have received from students on their learning experience.
- For larger social events such as the Winter Ball, they will assist the Social Events Secretary.
- Will act as a point of communications between lectures and the society for events involving academic staff.
