As a Social Secretary, you’ll be at the heart of representing the society. This role requires creating an exciting and engaging social media presence! This role is perfect for someone who is creative, outgoing, and organized, with strong communication and event-planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management – Promote events by creating engaging posts, cover photos, and replying to any enquiries on social media
- Help plan events with aid of the rest of committee, but majority of the planning is down to social sec
- Plan how many socials to host each term and ensure a variety of events to engage all members.
- Liaise with venues, companies, and committee members to organize successful events
- Come up with new fresh event ideas, and advocate on behalf of our members
