The Charity & Education Secretary is responsible for promoting learning, outreach, and fundraising initiatives within the society. This role requires someone passionate about neuroscience education, community engagement, and making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educational Events – Organize talks, workshops, and networking events with guest speakers and professionals. Reach out to academics for collaborations
• Work with the BNA to arrange talks for the cohort
• Charity Fundraising – Plan and run fundraising events to support chosen charities and neuroscience initiatives.
• Campaigns & Collaborations – Work with other societies and organizations to raise awareness of key issues.
• Stay aware of different events for fundraising opportunities, eg Movember
• Think of creative ways to fundraise money, and which events work well to maximise charitable funds
