What we're looking for

You should be proactive, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility. You do not need to be the most technically experienced person in the room, but you should have a genuine interest in technology and in building a strong developer community at Exeter.

A core part of the role is making technology accessible. Events should provide value whether someone has been coding for years or is opening a terminal for the first time.

We strongly believe students can be some of the most impactful teachers for other students. The VP should therefore help create opportunities for students to teach, build, collaborate and share their knowledge with the wider community.

Most importantly, this is a team role. Good leadership means knowing when to delegate, when to support others and when to ask for help.
