Trip leaders (x2) 🥾🥾

The role of trip leader is to plan and run a trip next term! We will be electing two trip leaders, so this is a great opportunity for first-years to get involved with committee and work alongside another member to organise a fun trip for everyone.

A good trip leader is:

📋 Organised: Planning a trip takes plenty of preparation! You’ll need to start organising your trip this term and over Christmas, ready to make it happen next term. This includes submitting budgets and risk assessments, planning routes, sorting out transport and accommodation, and making sure everything runs smoothly!

💡Enthusiastic: While culinary skills are preferred*, we will train you on how to run a trip! So brining your enthusiasm and exciting trip ideas is all you need!

🧭 Responsible and confident: You should be confident in your hiking ability, navigation skills and leading a group in all conditions.

Trips are always run with a minimum of two trip leaders, so you can pair up with a more experienced member of committee. And at least two First Aiders are required on all trips.

As this role is being elected much later than usual, we would not expect you to run a trip this term!
