The Treasurer is in charge of managing the Society’s finances. They also act as the Deputy for the President, supporting them and proving leadership and direction to other Committee roles where required. They set and oversee the writing of an annual budget and present a financial report to all members at the AGM. They ensure that all members have purchased membership. They have the responsibility to write off and sign off financial forms for the Society. Desirable qualities for this role include a sense of fiscal responsibility and some level of confidence in working with the President in managing the Committee and the wider Society. No prior experience is required
