The President is responsible for the general running of the society, overseeing activities and supporting other committee members. The role requires significant commitment but is highly rewarding for the opportunity to lead a university society and improve your leadership and teamworking skills. The President should also ensure the society is complying with the Guild's guidelines, as well as organising meetings between committee members to organise events and discuss society decisions.
