The president would be the person in charge of the overall running of the society and act as the main spokesperson and Chief Executive Officer of the society. Their responsibilities include:

• Being the chairperson for the committee meetings, AGMs and EGMs as well as attend meetings with the elected representative officer as the representative of the society
• Being responsible for the overall promotion and development of the society and carrying out the annual and event risk assessments for the society
• Making sure that the society does not break the guidelines and byelaws of the Students' Guild
• Signing off on financial forms for the society and responding to communications from the Activities Team
