The Professional Development Officer shall identify and monitor vacation schemes, internships, placements and other career opportunities, and shall collaborate with the Social Media Officer and Publications Officer to promote these opportunities to Society members.

They shall provide members with information and guidance on professional development resources, including workshops, CV support, application guidance and relevant skills training, in collaboration with the University Library, Career Zone and other appropriate University services.

They shall maintain up-to-date careers and employability resources to support members in developing their professional skills and preparing for future opportunities.
