The Welfare and Inclusion Officer shall advise the Committee on matters relating to the welfare, wellbeing and inclusion of Society members.

They shall support the Committee in ensuring that Society events, activities and communications are accessible, inclusive and considerate of members’ differing needs.

They shall provide appropriate guidance and signpost members to relevant University or external support services where necessary.

They shall collaborate with the Social Secretary and other relevant officers to ensure that social, networking and other Society events are welcoming and inclusive.

They shall promote a positive, respectful and supportive culture within the Society, encouraging participation, engagement and a sense of belonging among all members.
