The Social Secretary is responsible for organising social events and activities for Society members. 

They shall develop a varied and engaging programme of social activities that fosters a strong sense of community among Society members.

They shall collaborate with the Social Media Officer and Publications Officer to promote social events across the Society’s communication channels.

They shall collaborate with the Welfare and Inclusion Officer to ensure that social events are inclusive, accessible and considerate of members’ wellbeing.

They shall coordinate the Society’s social calendar, including venue bookings, event logistics and the management of RSVPs.

They shall gather and respond to feedback from members to support the continued improvement of the Society’s social programme.
