Choral Society Election 2024

Election Information

Choral Society elections are open for the 24-25 academic year.

We have really big plans for the next year and would like the committee to match! Being on the committee is a great opportunity to have a say in the direction of the choir for concerts, music and socials. It's also a fantastic opportunity to improve your cv and to gain leadership and teamwork experience which are really important when applying for graduate roles and internships. And of course it can be great fun!

The elections process is really simple. From today you can nominate yourself through the guild for the position that you think you are be best suited to. There is no need to upload a photo or write a manifesto (just type N/A). In our second rehearsal we will hold a short AGM in our break where we will ask anyone running for committee to introduce themselves and give a quick speech (around a minute) on why they would like to apply for the position they have applied for. After this, voting will open and all Choral Society members can vote for the people they would like to elect. Results will be announced in the newsletter.
