• Overall responsibility for promotion and development of the society and spokesperson
• Chairperson of committee meetings, in charge of agenda and scheduling
• Ensure all Guild rules are followed
• Responsibility to write off and sign off on financial forms
• Responsible for cancellation of walks (eg weather or lack of committee)
• In charge of booking coaches for Saturday walks and any communications with MD coaches
• Sort out Weekend Aways
• Responsibility to plot new routes on OS maps
Vice-President
• Support and deputise for the President
• Produce walk difficulties and ratings and pass onto General/Publicity Secretary to advertise
• In charge of Fixr tickets and refunds on Fixr
• In charge of risk assessments for walks (now just annual risk assessment)
