Responsible for overall activities of the Society;

· Tasked with maintaining close relations with other societies;

· Chairs meetings and delegates tasks to Committee members;

· Ensures that all obligations towards the Guild are fulfilled in terms of health and safety, Guild policies and constitution;

· Strategic allocation of Society resources;

· Liaison with external organisations and government bodies.
